10 weekendtips for 22nd, 23rd & 24th of June!

The first summer weekend finally hit Amsterdam and we cannot be more excited!

  1. On Friday June 22, the multidisciplinary Rooftop Festival ROEF takes place on 20 rooftops in all parts of Amsterdam. Discover the highest roofs and greatest views. Go roller-skating at 85 meters up in the air. Dive into a hot tub or find your way out of an escape room. Enjoy a musical note from our DJ’s or listen to the top notes from poets and sustainability connoisseurs. Our tips for this amazing festival: Do a cocktail escape room at QO & Juniper&Kin, listen to live jazz bands at Zoku, listen to hot dj’s and live artist at Circl, visit W Amsterdam for a poolparty or relax with stardom and hot tubs and sauna’s at Volkshotel!   2. Floor17 loves rollerblading and so do we! They’ve opened up a rollerblading track on 85m high! Go visit!
  3. Ever watched a movie on a rooftop? Rooftop Movie Night at Floor17 is not one to miss out on! Take sneak peak right here.
  4. Amsterdam Noord is one of the finest places to get out of the crowd and enjoy the urban life. Vitis the Vintage Sale at the Ruimte for the hottest vintage clothes this Saturday!
  5. The Amsterdamview teams loves the Big Apple! So we were delighted to hear that Richard Koek is exposing his work at the Eduard Plantinga gallery. This weekend is one of your last chances as they run until June 30rd so go visit New York New York!
  6. For 370 years het Koninklijk Paleis is a witness of our capitals amazing history. Famous rulers and kings, scientists and artisans, they’ve all walked through its galleries for centuries.   7. World Press Photo is still running, but not for long so make sure you visit before your miss out on it!

  9. For all us Amsterdam lovers out there; De Mooiste Stad from former mayor Eberhard van der Laan is an unique exposition hosted by the Amsterdam Museum. An absolute must-see!
  10.  Feel like doing something else on the Saturday other than partying? Visit Toomler, the infamous comedy cafe is the birthplace of many amazing stand up comedians and they’ve started their Summer program!
