10 weekendtips for 19th and 20th of May

What’s up what’s up Friday just hit again and we are so ready for this long weekend. We’ve cumulated our top 10 tips for coming weekend for this sun drenched weekend. Treat yo self!

  1. GT lovers beware! This weekend Undercurrent is hosting a Gin Tonic Festival. Try out all new kinds of our fav drink and let us know what your favorite ones are! All info on their Facebook page.
  2. The Amsterdamview teams loves the Big Apple! So we were delighted to hear that Richard Koek is exposing his work at the Eduard Plantinga gallery. Up until June 30rd we can enjoy his expo New York New York!
  3. For all the photography lovers out there, don’t forget: World Press Photo Exposition is still running at the Nieuwe Kerk!
  4. This Saturday Amsterdam North is hosting Midnight Market. You can expect loads of vintage clothes, fine drinks and the coolest underground jamsessions. Check out all info right here.
  5. Yess one of our favorite markets is returning this weekend. Once again Ijhallen is hosting the infamous vintage market with over 750 stands. We expect some nice weather so turn up!
  6. All you sneaker lovers out there go check out Sneakerness Amsterdam. One of the coolest sneaker festivals out there where you will find your newest pair of kicks. All info right here.
  7. If you’re into making the city greener all whilst getting a hot cup of Joe make sure you visit OKO this weekend! In exchange of planting some plants you will get a coffee in return. Green and caffeine, we love it! Check out all info right here.
  8. Not only is Ijhallen infamous, but this weekend ZIJhallen will host their open market as well. At the location of Sexyland members will get an exclusive entree to purchase some of the finest vintage designer items. Check it out right here!
  9. A bit off route but if you feel like biking make sure you go to Ruigoord this Saturday. They are having an open air poetry mic so expect loads of creativity, drinks and lounge sessions in this free spirited location!
  10. If you’re interested in art you will need to visit the Amsterdam Art Fair. The greatest local, international, modern and classical artists will present their newest work. Make sure you check out the program on their website!
