10 weekendtips for 14th & 15th of April

  1. It’s that favorite time of the month again when we can roam the endless rows of the IJhallen vintage market, coming Saturday and Sunday #yay!
  2. This Saturday is the start of World Press photo at the Nieuwe Kerk. Check out all the amazing photo’s and get your tickets a.s.a.p as well as all the info right here!
  3. The first beach party of the city’s season has kicked off and we will be dancing the day away at Summer Sessions at PLLEK. Sparked your interest? Check out everything you want to know here.
  4. Take a stroll through Museumplein where the monthly Museum Market is held again this Sunday!
  5. From April 11th until the 21st all fantastic film lovers will feel right at home at Eye Amsterdam for Imagina Film Festival. Check out the full program right here and pick your favorite movie to watch!
  6. This week we posted a blogpost online about one of our favorite hotspots in Amsterdam, Hortus Botanicus. Not only can you walk through the beautiful botanical garden, but you can also participate in different type of culinary workshops. They are usually on Thursdays, but so worth including in our weekendtips! You can find the program right here.
  7. Back in primary school there was one thing that could’ve gotten us on fire… Apenkooien! Not only is this amazing, nerve-racking activity something for the kids but a hint of nostalgia hits us when we get older. No wonder the team from ApenkooiGym set up a glow-in-the-dark edition this Saturday! Check out all info and ticket sales right here!
  8. Yes it’s a bit off route, but if you got a chance visit het Amsterdamse Bos this Saturday for Japanese Cherry Blossom Park. Over 200 beautiful Japanese flowers and tree’s are in full bloom, so go ahead and take a few snaps!
  9. We’re a big fan of the laidback Bali style so when Mama Makan announced they were going to have an Bali Brunch this Sunday we were thrilled! All info right here.
  10. We gave this tip a few weeks ago, but My Name Is Prince at Beurs van Berlage is still running so hurry up and go visit, before you miss it!
